Did I Ever Tell You How Lucky You Are? (Classic Seuss)

Dr. Seuss

I like Carl Hiaasen. I like his unpleasant characters, his twisted and interesting plots, his dumpy but honest heroes. I love his endings, where justice is always served. I found it interesting to read reviews of this novel on Amazon, where people seem to think you go to a Carl Hiaasen novel for some kind of religious experience, each one perfect and unique in its own way. What I like about Hiaasen is that each novel reminds me of the others, but still has enough of a unique character to distinguish it (as opposed to, say, the work of Barbara... Cartland).

I'll add more to this later -- if there seems to be more to add.
